386 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will give details of the section of his Department which is decentralising to County Cork; the reason this development required a greenfield site (details supplied) as opposed to the adjacent and vacant college site; and if he will make a statement on the matter. It is my intention to provide an all-Irish education centre in County Cork, which involves the in-career development of teachers on an on-going basis. The proposed greenfield site is in fact adjacent to the existing college. There are currently no further proposals in my Department to decentralise any section to County Cork.
