Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands (Miss de Valera)

I am pleased to advise the Deputy that, further to my reply to Question No. 106 of 4 Deireadh Fómhair 2000, the main website for my Department has been updated and now contains my Department's statement of strategy and 1999 Annual Report, together with press releases, speeches, details of special areas of conservation, draft architectural conservation guidelines for planning authorities, contact information, and the Section 15 and 16 handbooks prepared under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act, 1997. The site can be accessed at www.irlgov.ie/ealga.

I am also happy to announce that both this website and the other departmental websites are to be further redesigned and developed.
