109 Mr. Howlin asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands the progress made in her discussions with the Department of Finance regarding the provision of additional resources for the National Archive to enable it to recruit additional staff and provide a better service and if she will make a statement on the matter. The discussions referred to in my reply to Parliamentary Question No. 92 of 4 October are ongoing and I am confident that a determination will be made very shortly.
