Mitchell asked the Taoiseach the total sales in respect of telecommunications in 1999; the total number of sales and gross income of voice telephone calls, fax telephone calls, data calls and Internet calls distinguishing between land lines and mobile lines; and if, in respect of both land lines and mobile lines, he will indicate the total income therefrom and the levy of taxes and excises charged.
