I am informed by the chief executive officer of the Courts Service that the issue of regionalisation of certain responsibilities is currently being considered in the context of the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the service being provided. No decisions have been made on the staffing or location of regional offices. Any decisions in this regard are a matter for the Courts Service and I have no function in the matter.
