Written Answers. - Swimming Pool Projects.
A total of 51 proposals were submitted by local authorities to my Department under the swimming pool programme by this year's closing date of 31 July 2000. Decisions have been made in the case of five proposals and there are now 46 proposals on hand. Some 21 of these proposals relate to refurbishment of existing pools and the remaining 25 are to construct new pools.
