316 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will have arrangements made for a further investigation into the alleged altering of medical records by the Western Health Board, arising form the issues raised in a media report (details supplied). [26821/00]

I am informed by the Garda authorities that following a Garda investigation concerning the matter referred to by the Deputy, a file was forwarded to the Director of Public Prosecutions, who directed that no prosecution would take place in the matter.
