Written Answers. - Pension Schemes.

Seán Ryan

Question:

72 Mr. S. Ryan asked the Minister for Public Enterprise the plans she has to meet representatives of the Aer Lingus-Aer Rianta pensioners group; the progress that has been made towards resolving their concerns; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [28130/00]

I met representatives of the Retired Aviation Staff Association on 10 October 2000 concerning the Aer Lingus and Aer Rianta pension scheme. No arrangements have been made at this juncture for a further meeting with the association.

My reply to Questions Nos. 169 and 183, dated 28 November 2000, provides information on the current position regarding Aer Lingus and Aer Rianta pensions.
