140 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the discussions he has had with the Department of Finance regarding the extension of stock relief to young farmers for the first five years after taking over a farm; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department has received a number of budgetary submissions, with proposals regarding the extension of both the young, trained farmers stock relief and the general stock relief. These are matters for the Minister for Finance and I have raised them with him.
