264 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Education and Science if a claim by a person (details supplied) in Dublin 8 for incremental credit in respect of teaching service abroad will be processed as quickly as possible; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [30091/00]

Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods)

The person referred to by the Deputy has applied for incremental credit and has recently submitted all the required supporting documentation.

The application is currently being processed in my Department, and it is expected that a decision will be conveyed directly to the applicant at an early date.
