Question:

240 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Education and Science if his attention has been drawn to the fact that teachers in a school (details supplied) in County Kerry have voted for industrial action; and the steps he will take to resolve these issues and provide a new school as soon as possible. [30135/00]

The consultant architect appointed to carry out a feasibility study on the suitability of the site for the proposed new school at the location referred to by the Deputy has informed my Department that the proposed drawings for the layout of the site have been submitted to the local planning authority. When the final recommendations are received from the architect about the site, my Department will be in contact with the school authorities.
