Vol. 529 No. 1

Written Answers. - Special Needs School.

Bernard J. Durkan

Question:

678 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will arrange for the transfer of two persons (details supplied) in County Kildare with special needs from St. Mary's, Baldoyle, Dublin 13, to St. Raphaels, Celbridge, County Kildare, to facilitate more regular visiting by the parents who live only 15 minutes away from Celbridge; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1887/01]

The provision of services to persons with special needs in the Dublin area is the responsibility of the Eastern Regional Health Authority in the first instance. I have forwarded your inquiry to the chief executive of the authority for investigation and direct reply to you.
