139 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education and Science when the Kilcock Christian Brothers Monastery will be handed over to Kildare County Council to facilitate the provision of a modern library incorporating the Theresa Brayton Memorial; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3495/01]
Gaelscoil Uí Riada is currently accommodated in the former Christian Brothers Monastery in Kilcock and it will remain in this location until a new building on an alternative site has been provided.
While architectural planning has been initiated, it is not possible at this early stage to say when construction will commence until the site issue has been resolved and architectural planning has been completed.
