Question:116 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development when a payment of suckler cow premium for 2000 will issue to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny. [3831/01]

The person named applied for premium on 39 animals under the 2000 suckler cow premium scheme and for 36 beef cows under the 2000 beef cow scheme on 31 May 2000.
When the application was being processed in the local office it transpired that there were a number of problems concerning the identification of six animals which were listed on the application submitted. The applicant was written to on two occasions to resolve the relevant issues. All outstanding queries in this regard have now been rectified and the person named will be paid his entitlements under both schemes within two weeks.
