Question:

115 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the number of REP scheme appeals lodged and awaiting a decision, giving details on a county by county basis; and the number of appeals which were finalised at each of the last three REP scheme appeals committee meetings. [3658/01]

As of Friday, 9 February 2001, the REPS appeal process was dealing with 520 cases. Reports were being prepared for the REPS appeals committee on 282 of these. Completed reports on the remainder were awaiting consideration by the committee.

The number of cases by county, as of 9 February, was as follows:
