170 Mr. Hayes asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation if he has received an application under the Sports Capital Programme from the Tallaght Youth Tattoo seeking support for their activities; when a decision will be made in respect of this application; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Sports Capital Programme for 2001 was advertised in mid-December with a closing date of Friday last, 9 February 2001 for the receipt of completed applications.
An application for funding under the programme has been received from the organisation in question and this application together with all other applications received will be evaluated in accordance with the assessment criteria which are outlined in the guidelines, terms and conditions of the programme. I intend to announce the grant allocations at the earliest possible date following completion of this assessment process.
