Protection of Employees (Part-Time Work) Bill, 2000: Order for Second Stage.
Bill entitled an Act to provide for the implementation of Directive 97/81/EC of 15 December 1997 of the Council of the European Communities concerning the Framework Agreement on part-time work concluded by UNICE, CEEP and the ETUCf7>1, to clarify the effect certain enactments relating to employees have in cases where the employee concerned is a posted worker (within the meaning of Directive 96/71/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 December 1996 concerning the posting of workers in the framework of the provision of services) or is otherwise posted in the Statef7>2, to amend section 14(2) of the Pro tection of Employment Act, 1977, and to provide for related matters.
