Vol. 530 No. 4

Written Answers. - Health Services.

Jack Wall

Question:

140 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath was not provided the basic needs for this person by the area health board; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4199/01]

The provision of health related services to people with physical and sensory disabilities and access to such services is a matter for the relevant health board. Accordingly, the Deputy's questions have been referred to the chief executive officer of the Midland Health Board, with a request that he examine the matter and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
