Vol. 530 No. 4

Written Answers. - Health Related Services.

Jack Wall

Question:

143 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will have investigations made into the problems a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath had in obtaining transport for his child to attend a hospital (details supplied) in Dublin 12; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4202/01]

The provision of health related services to people with physical and sensory disabilities and access to such services is a matter for the relevant health board. Accordingly, the Deputy's question has been referred to the chief executive officer of the Midland Health Board, with a request that he examine the matter and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
