100 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if he will give consideration to an application for a farm retirement pension for a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4352/01]

My Department has no record of an application by the person named under the new scheme of early retirement from farming, which commenced on 27 November 2000. If he submits a completed application, together with the required supporting documentation, his eligibility under the scheme will be examined.
