231 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will ascertain from the Western Health Board when an alternative contractor will be appointed to carry out works approved for a person (details supplied) in County Mayo under the special housing aid for the elderly scheme. [4579/01]
As the Deputy is aware, the housing aid scheme for the elderly in the Mayo area is administered by the Western Health Board on behalf of the Department of the Environment and Local Government. I have asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate this matter and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
