123 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources the capital projects funded by his Department which commenced in the Waterford constituency in 2000; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4817/01]
Under my Department's fishery harbours development programme for 2000, funding was provided for a range of projects, including cliff stabilisation and safety works at Dunmore East Fishery Harbour Centre. Funding was also allocated to Waterford County Council for pier improvement works at Ardmore and repairs to the sea wall at Lady Elizabeth's Cove, Tramore.
My Department's coastal protection programme for 2000 provided funding to Waterford County Council for the strengthening of the promenade wall at Tramore and a detailed design of protection works at Cunnigar.
