169 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Education and Science the sectors to be represented on the proposed commission on teaching and learning; and if the community sector, that is, educationally disadvantaged communities will be represented. [5071/01]
I have indicated that I would favour a commission on education and learning for life which would have a broad and supportive remit and I am developing proposals in this regard. The proposed membership of such a commission has not been finalised but the Deputy may be assured that the participation of the community sector, particularly educationally disadvantaged communities, will be one of my priorities.
