49 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands the progress with the new edition of the booklet An Bhratach Náisiúnta; the length of time it has taken for the new edition of the booklet to become available; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [4799/01]
I understand that a revised edition of the booklet "An Bhratach Náisiúnta" is at an advanced stage of preparation and is at present with the Department of the Taoiseach for final approval.
While it has taken some time to produce the revised edition, the Department of the Taoiseach has given considerable thought to producing a more modern and concise version of the original booklet, which is still available through the Government Publications Sale Office.
I understand that the revised booklet will go to print in mid-March 2001.
