67 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources the number of non-established civil servants employed by him in his office; the number within his Department; the salary scale, conditions, terms of employment and function in each case; the names of the persons or firms so employed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources (Mr. Fahey)

There are two unestablished civil servants employed by me in my office and the Minister of State employs four unestablished civil servants. These numbers are within the staffing complement allowed to Ministers. The information which the Deputy requested regarding the individuals is outlined in the following table.
