Question:176 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the reason a person (details supplied) in County Cork did not receive full payment under the rural environment protection scheme. [5887/01]

Following a pre-payment compliance inspection carried out on 21 December 2000, a 10% penalty was imposed as the undertakings in respect of the applicant's farmyard had not been carried out as planned. The applicant was advised in writing of this on 15 January 2001.
