Vol. 532 No. 1

Written Answers. - EU Directives.

Ulick Burke

Question:

281 Mr. U. Burke asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands if she will state the socio-economic information that is placed on Natura 2000 data forms; if she will provide specimen copies particularly from Objective One areas; and if this information is not included on or with these forms, the way in which the information is conveyed to the Commission. [6903/01]

I refer the Deputy to my reply to parliamentary Question No. 339 of 14 November.

Natura 2000 data forms do not provide for the inclusion of any socio-economic information and the provision of such information to the Commission in regard to SACs does not arise. I have arranged for my staff in Dúchas to provide the Deputy with specimen copies of Natura 2000 data forms, for his information.

Question No. 282 answered with Question No. 279.
