Vol. 532 No. 1

Written Answers. - Tax Allowances.

John McGuinness

Question:

130 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Finance when a tax free allowance will be issued to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny who is now married to a person (details supplied). [6394/01]

I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the inspector of taxes has no record of having received an application from the taxpayer for a tax free allowance and has no information about the taxpayer's current circumstances. The inspector has sent the taxpayer a form 12A, application for a certificate of tax free allowances. The taxpayer should complete the form and return it to the inspector who will then issue a certificate of tax free allowances as quickly as possible.
