Question:

351 Mr. Neville asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Dublin will have a medical consultation at Tallaght Hospital. [7748/01]

Responsibility for the provision of hospital services to residents of Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly.

352 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will take steps to ensure that a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath is admitted to St. James's Hospital, Dublin 8, for a bone scan, as a matter of urgency; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7749/01]

Responsibility for the provision of health services to persons living in County Westmeath rests with the Midland Health Board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the issue raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.

353 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will ensure that a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath who is awaiting a hip operation at Tullamore General Hospital, County Offaly has same carried out immediately; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7755/01]
