652 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will appoint an additional resource teacher at the Nano Nagle special school, Listowel, County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7942/01]

Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods):

I am pleased to inform the Deputy that my Department has recently sanctioned an additional teaching post for the school in question to cater for the needs of pupils with moderate general learning disability attending the school.
