Vol. 533 No. 1

Written Answers. - Hospital Lists.

John McGuinness

Question:

106 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children about the reasons for the delay in arranging an appointment with a doctor for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny. [8303/01]

The Deputy will appreciate that the scheduling of hospital admissions is a matter for the relevant hospital concerned based on clinical priority.

I have therefore asked the chief executive officer of the South Eastern Health Board, which has responsibility for the provision of hospital services in the case to which the Deputy is referring, to look into the matter and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
