Question:

337 Mr. Neville asked the Minister for Education and Science the number of children up to and including 18 years of age who suffer from hearing impairment in the Mid-Western Health Board area who are in (i) primary main stream education, (ii) second level main stream education, (iii) special schools for deaf primary education, and (iv) special schools for deaf second level education. [8889/01]

The detailed information requested by the Deputy is not readily available in my Department and would involve an inordinate amount of administrative time to compile.
