Vol. 534 No. 3

Written Answers. - Capital Projects Funding.

Denis Foley

Question:

173 Mr. Foley asked the Minister for Health and Children the proposals which are under consideration for capital projects in hospitals in County Kerry; the total value of such projects; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10641/01]

I understand that proposals are being considered by the Southern Health Board regarding capital projects in the acute and non-acute hospitals in County Kerry. The board will prioritise the proposals in the context of its funding under the national development plan. Progress on any project will be a matter for the board in the first instance based on available resources and the priority attached it by the board. The costings of individual projects will be a matter for detailed discussion between my Department and the board.

Question No. 174 answered with Question No. 171.
