Vol. 534 No. 3

Written Answers. - Speech Therapy Service.

Michael Creed

Question:

144 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Health and Children if his attention has been drawn to the circumstances regarding a child (details supplied) in County Cork, attending a special class, who is on a waiting list for two years for assessment for occupational therapy, speech therapy and orthopaedic assessment; when it is envisaged that this person will receive an appointment in respect of these needs; and the additional resources which will be made available by his Department to provide for this person's needs. [10604/01]

As it would not be appropriate to include personal details in a general reply, I have written directly to the Deputy with details of the information which he has requested.
