Vol. 535 No. 1

Written Answers - Ophthalmology Service.

Gay Mitchell

Question:

307 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will make a statement on concerns expressed and practical proposals made in relation to children needing eye treatment (details supplied). [11655/01]

Responsibility for the provision of health services, including ophthalmology services, to persons living in Counties Dublin, Kildare and Wick low rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority in the first instance. The proposals referred to by the Deputy have been received by my Department and I have referred them to the authority for comment and reply.
