Question:400 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government when he will grant sanction for a voluntary housing project (details supplied) in County Cork. [11677/01]

I understand the Deputy is referring to a project which it is proposed to carry out with assistance under my Department's rental subsidy scheme. The local authority have been in correspondence with my Department in relation to the costings of this project which, it is considered, require further examination. My Department has written to the county council to this effect.
