245 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Education and Science the position regarding an application by a school (details supplied) in County Kildare for improved facilities such as the provision of a utility room; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12508/01]

Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods):

My Department's building unit has no record of having received an application for grant-aid towards the provision of improved facilities at the school referred to by the Deputy.

I have asked officials of my Department to contact the school authorities to discuss the issue with them.
