208 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for Education and Science the position in relation to an application for a classroom assistant for a school (details supplied) in County Donegal and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13191/01]

I am pleased to inform the Deputy that my Department has sanctioned a full-time special needs assistant post to cater for the needs of the child in question.
