Vol. 535 No. 5

Written Answers - Services for People with Disabilities.

Question:

162 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Health and Children if a person (details supplied) in Dublin 10 will be paid disabled person's maintenance allowance and disability payments. [13111/01]

The assessment of entitlement and payment of allowances which come under the aegis of the Department of Health and Children is a matter for the relevant health board or authority. Therefore, I have referred the Deputy's question to the regional chief executive, Eastern Regional Health Authority with a request that he examine the query and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
