430 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Education and Science the number of appointments made to the position of principal and deputy principal in voluntary secondary schools over the past five years; and the percentage of these posts which have been filled by external non-school based candidates over the past five years. The details requested by the Deputy in respect of the 1999-2000 and 2000-01 school years are being compiled by my Department and will be forwarded to him as soon as possible. Data in respect of the previous three school years are not readily available in my Department.
