The person named completed his five year contract in REPS on 31 March 2001. He has received all payments appropriate to that contract.

Question:151 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if a REP scheme application has been received from a person (details supplied) in County Mayo; and if so, when this person can expect payment to issue. [14291/01]
The person named submitted an application under the previous REP scheme on 10 August 1998. The area he applied on included commonage land and, at that time, it was not possible to process such applications pending the introduction of a revised scheme incorporating supplementary measure A. The application was returned to him in January 1999 and he was advised that he could make the necessary amendments to conform with supplementary measure A and resubmit it. However, no further application has been received from him. If he submits an application under the new REP scheme introduced in November 2000, it will be processed in accordance with the normal procedures.
