58 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Finance when it is expected that the final report of the Revenue Partnership Intensive Group on the Shadow Economy will be finalised; if it is intended to publish the report; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14244/01]
As I informed the House in April in response to earlier Dáil questions I am advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the draft report required consultation with Revenue's business areas and further discussion by Revenue's partnership committee. This process is ongoing and it is likely that the draft report will come before the partnership committee again at its meeting next month. It is not possible to say at this stage when that committee will be in a position to finalise its deliberations. The question of the publication of the report is an issue which has yet to be considered by the partnership committee.
