Vol. 536 No. 5

Written Answers. - Hospital Services.

Gay Mitchell

Question:

225 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will arrange that the brother of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12 will be given psychiatric treatment either as in patient or in a day care centre; and if a programme of treatment will be set up. [14958/01]

Responsibility for the provision of hospital services to residents of Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly.
