Vol. 536 No. 5

Written Answers. - Garda Stations.

Cecilia Keaveney

Question:

326 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the current position in relation to having a condemned Garda station (details supplied) in County Donegal replaced; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14966/01]

As regards the station mentioned by the Deputy, the position is that the necessary, temporary, accommodation has been provided for the gardaí to the rear of the existing station. Moreover, negotiations are being undertaken by the Office of Public Works to secure a suitable and permanent new location for the gardaí in the town.
