My Department has received a request from Carlow Regional Youth Service for financial assistance towards the expansion of the youth work provision in the Carlow region. Consideration is being given to this request and to other applications made for youth work funding in 2001, having regard to available financial resources. A decision will be given in relation to these requests as soon as possible.
