368 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Education and Science if all issues surrounding recruitment, remuneration and other related issues have been finalised with examiners of all subject scripts in the leaving certificate examinations 2001; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14777/01]

The matters raised by the Deputy are the subject of negotiations between my Department and the teachers' unions concerned. I am hopeful that these negotiations will be completed shortly.
