Vol. 536 No. 6

Written Answers. - Special Educational Needs.

Tony Gregory

Question:

231 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Education and Science the assistance he can give to arrange a psychological assessment, a place in a special school and a specialist computer for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 1. [15211/01]

The person named by the Deputy attends a school that has been assigned to one of the psychologists of the national educational psychological service agency, NEPS. I have arranged for the psychologist to investigate the person's needs, following which, the psychologist will make recommendations to my Department on any extra support that the person may require.
