Vol. 537 No. 1

Written Answers. - Orthodontic Service.

Question:

122 Mr. Hayes asked the Minister for Health and Children when persons (details supplied) in Dublin 24 will receive the necessary orthodontic treatment from the Eastern Regional Health Authority; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15431/01]

As the provision of orthodontic services to eligible persons in Dublin 24 is the statutory responsibility of the Eastern Regional Health Authority, I have asked the chief executive officer of that authority to investigate the position in relation to these cases and to reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
