339 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if a site has been identified and purchased for the provision of a new Garda station at Carbury, County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15710/01]

Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform (Mr. O'Donoghue): A site, which is considered suitable by the Garda authorities, has recently been identified and the Office of Public Works has been informed accordingly. It is a matter for the Office of Public Works to secure a suitable site in the area.
