380 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Education and Science the additional classroom facilities which have been sanctioned for a school extension (details supplied) in County Cork; and, the current situation regarding this proposed extension. [15588/01]
An application for additional permanent accommodation was received in my Department's planning and building unit in April 2001 from the school referred to by the Deputy. At present, the application is being examined and a response will issue to the board of management as soon as possible.
Pending the provision of permanent accommodation, my Department has sanctioned three temporary additional classrooms to cater for the school's interim requirements.
